24/7 Uptime are delighted to announce that Stratus Technologies, the leading provider of availability solutions, will be joining the 24/7 Uptime team to offer live demonstrations of its virtualised fault-tolerant platform and software solutions at Data Centre World, ExCel London on 12th and 13th April 2016.
Data Centre World is the world’s largest, most influential gathering of data centre expertise. It bring together solutions providers and thought leaders from the data centre industry to demonstrate the latest technologies and practices, and provides networking seminars by leading speakers in the field. The 2016 exhibition will also feature DCW Green Data Centre for the first time. Seated in the heart of the exhibition, this live running data centre, co-sponsored by 24/7 Uptime, will showcase a Stratus ftServer and everRun Enterprise software, both providing their world-class ‘always-on’ availability. The two solutions will be running a DCIM software package for manufacturing applications and an access/security control software package for facilities management applications, allowing visitors to experience two practical examples of the technology in action.
Included in the distinguished speaker programme is a much anticipated address from Stratus Solutions Architect, Andy Bailey, entitled “Why Downtime Is Not An Option”. Bailey is expected to offer insight about both fault tolerant server and software based solutions using recent case studies at leading engineering and logistics enterprises.
The 24/7 Uptime and Stratus teams are also on stand O42 where they will provide an opportunity for the industry to get ‘hands-on’ with Stratus solutions and see how real-world applications benefit from ‘always-on’ availability. Visitors will be able to find out more about how to significantly reduce the costs associated with unplanned downtime and help protect business reputations, the lives of workers and the general public across a variety of industries and public services.
The two day show is on 12 and 13 April at Excel London. Registration is open now – apply for tickets here.
